Budget director's statement to City Council
Holt's speech supports mayor
Earlier this month, Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced his first budget proposal
for the city of Chicago. Wednesday, Budget Director Alex Holt discussed the proposal with City Council, showing his support of Emanuel's initiative to make cuts, collect on debts and raise revenue.
The speech basically reiterated the budget proposal, but take a look at the frequency of the words he used. Though context isn't always provided, it's interesting to see that "services," "increases," and "department" were among the most frequent words.
No where in the cloud is there a form of the word "cut."
